ClearTube is a Chrome browser extension that displays quality scores on YouTube search results. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we do not collect.
The extension stores your settings locally in chrome.storage.local on your device. We never receive your search queries, watch history, or browsing activity. The only external network call made by the extension is to returnyoutubedislikeapi.com, a public API that provides aggregate dislike counts. This call carries no personal information about you.
If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address via Supabase for authentication purposes. If you make a purchase, payment data is processed by DodoPayments — we never see or store your card details. We store your plan status (free or lifetime) and, for Lifetime users, the device identifiers registered to your plan.
Account data is retained until you delete your account. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.
